I just got back from one of my biweekly lab test at the transplant clinic and physical therapy for my arm. They took my staples (45 of them) and my few remaining stitches which is a big relief. I feel better than I have for many years and things are going well. They are pleased with my lab test and current progress. I went in the hospital weighing 254 (had retained a lot of fluid) and this morning weighed 207. It was an expensive diet and I ingested more liver at one time than I ever had before. Hey if it works...... They told me for the next three months to eat a lot of calories, fat, meat, sweets, etc. This is a strange feeling to choose something to eat because it has more calories than something else. I guess you call it the real SeeFood Diet. Anyway things are going great and I am trying to build up my over all endurance and strength.
